STG Co., Ltd. has been specializing in magnesium since 2002 and has been working on the production of high quality parts while working to reduce the environmental load.
Magnesium is an element that is abundant on the earth and is highly recyclable, so it is attracting attention as a next-generation material to replace plastics.
Breaking away from secondary subcontracting, promoting globalization while building an integrated production system, in 2009, received the “Osaka Manufacturing Excellent Company Award” from the Governor of Osaka Prefecture. In 2017, the Japan Venture Award (JVA) 2017 “Small and Medium-sized Enterprises” is a commendation system that honors the managers of highly motivated venture companies that carry out innovative and high-potential businesses and businesses that contribute to solving social issues. Received the “Organization for Small & Medium Enterprises Chairman’s Award”.

STG Co., Ltd. has been actively utilizing foreigners, women, and people with disabilities since its founding, based on its personnel philosophy of “promoting a wide range of human resources,” “creating employment opportunities for vulnerable groups,” and “utilizing the elderly.” However, we have continued to expand sales by strengthening our overseas bases. The Chinese factory will be fully equipped with dormitories and cafeterias for employees, and the Thai factory will introduce a scholarship system for employees’ children from 2014, transforming into a sustainable world where no one is left behind. Especially, the whole group is working on it.
In recognition of our advanced efforts to link such diversity promotion to management results, we received the “100 Diversity Management Companies Selection” from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry on March 18, 2015. It is published in the 2014 “100 Best Practices of Diversity Management Companies” published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, 83p-86p.

In February 2016, we received the 100 Diversity Management Company Awards and received the SME Regional Economy Promotion Achievement Award from Yao City. In September 2017, the Osaka Prefectural Management Rationalization Association commends excellent companies with unique characteristics that are expanding their business performance through advanced and innovative management, building new business models, and creating new corporate value. We received the “Fuji Sankei Business Eye Award” from the “10th Management Rationalization Awards”.

From May 2020, we started planning, developing and manufacturing the contact prevention mobile hook “Hand Hook” so that anyone can easily take measures against infection risk. In July, we conducted test marketing of an antibacterial mask case “Slim Box” made of magnesium alloy that leveraged our strengths through SDGs contribution type crowdfunding. We collected 1,355,800 yen from 186 people. Since then, we have been working on full-scale commercialization as our own brand business “STG Design Labo”.
Magnesium alloy is a material that is lighter and has the same or higher strength than other metals, and is also recyclable. It was mostly used in home appliances, precision equipment such as personal computers and cameras.
In “STG Design Labo”, we have succeeded in commercializing it by focusing on its use as a sustainable material to replace plastic, using the metal processing technology that we have cultivated every day as a weapon.
Currently, focusing on magnesium alloys, metal products such as copper and brass, as well as other ecological materials, we are working hard on product development every day, and when commercializing it, we are working with various different industries and the same industry. We are working to speed up development and manufacturing through our partnership, and contribute to infection risk countermeasures for individuals and companies.
